Allergy Technician

At Meadville Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Allergy Technician to join our team. As an Allergy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients undergoing allergy testing and treatment.

• Perform skin testing (SET) and RAST testing as ordered by physicians.
• Administer routine allergy immunotherapy as prescribed.
• Prepare and mix allergy extract for immunotherapy according to approved formulas.
• Accurately document patient testing and treatment in electronic medical records.
• Maintain clean and organized treatment areas.
• Process payment and billing paperwork.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Clinical Licensure LPN.
• Minimum 1-year experience in a medical office with electronic charting or equivalent.
• Exceptional patient relations, quality, accuracy, productivity, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Computer skills with ability to utilize electronic medical records and software.
