We are seeking an ambitious and enterprising reporter to cover western Montana high schools, primarily in the Bitterroot Valley, and support coverage of University of Montana athletics.
About the Role
This is a new full-time position that will work out of The Missoulian and Ravalli Republic newsrooms. The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, writing features, covering games, building relationships, and helping to manage print page production.
About the Team
406mtsports.com is Lee Enterprises' statewide sports website, bringing together coverage from across the state – including high schools, the NCAA Division I Big Sky Conference, and the NAIA's Frontier Conference.
Responsibilities
- Write features and cover games for western Montana high schools and University of Montana athletics
