- POSITION SUMMARY
- Responsible for managing and providing comprehensive medical and nursing care to patients by thoroughly assessing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs; developing individualized nursing care strategies; executing care plans; and evaluating patient outcomes. - EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have completed an Associate Degree in Nursing.
- EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Open to candidates with no prior experience.
- CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES REQUIRED
- Must possess current BLS and/or CPR certification from a recognized organization or be able to obtain certification within a specified timeframe. Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse in the relevant states is required.
- CRITICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must be proficient in English, including reading, writing, and verbal communication. Required physical, technical, cognitive skills, and manual dexterity to operate medical equipment effectively.
- PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Exhibit expertise in specific clinical competencies as outlined in departmental guidelines. Adhere to nursing regulations and institutional policies. Provide and coordinate medical and nursing care utilizing the nursing process. Employ effective communication and leadership abilities to achieve optimal patient outcomes within designated timeframes. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and in accordance with protocols. Conduct educational sessions for patients. Ensure patient environments are maintained in a clean, organized, and adequately supplied manner. Respond promptly to patient requests. Take appropriate actions during emergencies. Assist in the implementation of quality assurance measures. Support the orientation and training of new personnel and nursing students as needed.
