Advanced Practice Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at American Family Care Ladera Ranch. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our staff to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough health histories, review patient records, and develop comprehensive medical assessments to determine the best course of treatment.
- Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and implement therapy or referrals to appropriate healthcare facilities, agencies, and resources.
- Provide emergency care and stabilization measures as needed, including cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions.
- Interpret and analyze patient data to determine patient status, management, and treatment.
- Offer guidance and education to patients, families, and significant others regarding healthcare and health promotion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certification (with 1 year ER/UC experience preferred).
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required.
- Able to multitask and work independently.

Our state-of-the-art centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, workers' compensation, and occupational medicine. Each location is equipped with an onsite lab and in-house x-ray capability.
AFC is the parent company of AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF). This position works directly with a franchised business location. The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises.
