Key Responsibilities- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, including scheduling and confirming appointments, and managing the patient calendar.
- Surgical Assistance: Provide support to our Oral Surgeons during surgical procedures, including preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting with patient care.
- Front Desk Support: Greet patients, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a professional and courteous manner.
- Patient Communication: Inform patients of dental office procedures and policies, and provide education on oral health and surgery.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, update patient information, and perform other administrative duties as needed.
- Team Player: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, and to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in software applications, including WINOMS, and ability to learn new systems and technologies.
- Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; CALAOMS or DAANCE certification a plus.
