  • Collaborating with a team to design and implement cutting-edge cloud solutions tailored to meet specific business needs.
  • Overseeing the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems and applications to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Managing the entire lifecycle of cloud-based programs, which includes developing processes, optimizing performance, and implementing risk management strategies.
Qualifications

Essential:
  • At least 8 years of experience in cloud engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in collaborating with teams to define project requirements, design architectures, and supervise implementation phases.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and expertise in advanced cloud technologies and architectures.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and a responsible team player.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.
  • Local residency in designated areas is required.
Preferred:
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation.
  • Experience with Java, Groovy, REST API development, and UNIX Shell Scripting.
  • Understanding of web development frameworks and database technologies.
  • Ability to implement industry-standard cloud services and best practices.
  • Experience mentoring junior staff members.
  • Capability to proactively identify and resolve issues with innovative solutions.
