In this role, you will collaborate with a highly regarded trial attorney and their team, managing a diverse caseload, engaging in litigation, conducting depositions, mediating disputes, and representing clients in court.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee a caseload of 30-40 cases, serving as the primary attorney throughout all litigation phases from initiation to trial.
- Formulate case strategies and develop legal theories.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
- Conduct and defend depositions involving various parties, including plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses.
- Participate in settlement discussions and negotiations.
- Serve as second chair during trial proceedings.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on their cases.
- Supervise and guide paralegals and support staff.
- A minimum of three years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law institution.
- Active membership in the California bar in good standing.
- Demonstrated success in managing a caseload and resolving complex cases.
- Strong skills in legal research and analysis.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- A client-centered approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
