Job Summary:

Evaluate and treat patient populations for swallowing, speech-language, and therapy needs in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a high level of critical thinking and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.

Design and implement a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.

Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.

Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services.

Supervise activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Requirements:

Master's of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.

Current licensure in Tennessee required.

American Heart Association or American Red Cross Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of employment.

One year clinical experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered.
