Parker Gas Company Incorporated is a family-operated propane cylinder exchange delivery service catering to a variety of commercial and industrial clients, and we are in a phase of CONTINUOUS GROWTH.
We are in search of a seasoned and career-oriented Plant Operations Supervisor with a background in a processing or manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate is a proactive manager who is highly driven, a self-starter, and dedicated to maintaining safety while leading with a strong sense of motivation and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing a team of plant line staff, including maintenance personnel, in daily operations
- Encouraging and ensuring adherence to safe work practices and training
- Conducting audits for maintenance compliance and managing parts inventory
- Maintaining inventory levels to fulfill production requirements
- Filling in for specific roles as needed to sustain production
- Collaborating with other leadership team members across various departments
- Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with OSHA, DHS, EPA, and PHMSA regulations
- A college degree in manufacturing or operations, or equivalent experience of 3 years
- Experience in the propane, natural gas, or refined fuels sector is preferred but not mandatory
