Compensation and Job Details

In New York City, The Animal Cardiology Center is expanding its team as a specialty practice offering top-notch veterinary cardiology services to dogs and cats. We are seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician or Technologist to join our staff.

Salary and Benefits Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $32-$36 per hour, ensuring you earn fairly for your expertise and skills. Job Responsibilities and Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience working with animals, hold a Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited college or university, be licensed in NY State, possess effective communication skills, strong people and organizational skills, and the ability to resolve conflict. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialized care, record keeping, ensure regulatory compliance, plan patient flow, maintain clinical inventory, train new colleagues, participate in hospital events, foster a positive work environment, communicate with the leadership team, and ensure regular equipment maintenance.

You will collaborate closely with our Medical Director and practice manager to develop strategies for patient services, client satisfaction, and hospital growth, troubleshoot operational concerns, and provide support in the absence of the practice manager. This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, moving patients safely, and having a passion for delivering excellent animal care.
