Job Summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a skilled Freight Handler to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove pallets of product from trailers and break them down to the correct height and width for storage
  • Separate inbound freight and ensure products are stored in sufficient quantities to meet routine and special demands
  • Sort and dispose of boxes and other packaging materials
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with colleagues
