Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide pre-operative care and post-operative recovery services for patients undergoing eye surgery at our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and care for patients before and after eye surgery
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Start IVs and perform other medical procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Document patient information and medical records accurately
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
  • Meet the physical and emotional demands of the job, including working variable shifts and responding to emergencies
  • Comply with all ASC policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Current RN license in good standing
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Ability to start IVs and perform other medical procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Ability to comply with all ASC policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
