We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Line Cook to join our team at Yoshida Group's upscale restaurant in Troutdale, Oregon. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to meet the expectations of our discerning guests.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to quality and aesthetic standards
  • Ensure sanitary practices are upheld in the kitchen
  • Coordinate and facilitate working as a team to provide exceptional guest experiences
  • Maintain open communication between front-of-house and back-of-house staff
  • Control stock rotation and inventory organization
  • Fulfill various roles, including grilling, sautéing, prep work, banquets, and special events
  • Maintain a secure, clean, organized, and prepared restaurant environment
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a fast-paced line cook
  • US work authorization
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Weekend and evening availability
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen environment
  • Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Manual dexterity to cut and chop foods and perform other related tasks
