Job Summary

This role will provide procurement direction to our Cross-Functional Teams and Procurement Department. The ideal candidate will be able to perform in a fast-paced, flexible, team-oriented, and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop strategic initiatives to monitor and improve supplier performance through corrective action and continuous improvement plans.
  2. Work with our Asia Contributors to ensure they are aware of and involved in our sourcing strategies.
  3. Challenging suppliers on costing when appropriate and negotiating with them to provide the best pricing, serviceability, and quality.
  4. Manage and analyze large volumes of data to inform procurement decisions.
  5. Support the development and deployment of a Supplier Relationship Management program to align with company and product strategies.
Requirements
  1. Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and resourceful, with the ability to work well within a team environment.
  2. Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of data.
  3. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
  4. Ability to integrate with the cultural environment of our global supply base and international offices.
  5. Must adhere to and maintain ethical business standards and make unbiased business decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience with manufacturing processes, SAP, Business Objects, and Automotive/Electronics background.
Education / Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a concentration in one or more of the following disciplines: Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Business.
  2. 3-5 years' experience as a business professional or military officer.
