Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities

As a Sanitation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our production facilities. This includes:

  • Handling and application of cleaning chemicals
  • Cleaning and sanitizing of all plant equipment, including roof areas and outside spaces
  • Reading and following cleaning solution/chemical directions and titration methods
  • Working in high areas, confined spaces, flour, sugar dust, water, and other environments (hot/cold)
  • Being flexible to work off-shifts, weekends, and holidays (schedule subject to change)
  • Demonstrating the ability to climb and clean flour bins
  • Setting up and organizing work areas in a clean and safe manner
  • Participating in team meetings and supporting improvement processes
  • Performing any other duties required or assigned by your supervisor
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Basic literacy skills (able to read and write)
  • Basic math skills
  • The ability to lift in excess of 50lbs consistently
  • The ability to walk/stand 100% of work time
