Purchasing Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Planner to join our team at POM Wonderful. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies that drive efficiency and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain purchasing systems, procedures, and reporting tools to ensure optimal material management.
• Implement and monitor purchasing cost analysis reporting to identify opportunities for savings and process improvements.
• Analyze forecasts and lead times to assess current and future material needs.
• Oversee purchase orders and requisitions to meet production, safety, and capital expenditure requirements.
• Collaborate with the purchasing board to drive improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain material inventories within optimal minimum/maximum levels to ensure production reliability.
• Partner with Global Sourcing and R&D to establish strategic supplier relationships and negotiate competitive prices.
• Develop cost analysis scenarios (ROI) in support of CAPEX initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain management, or finance.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to create cost-saving strategies and drive process improvements.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools, with experience in RFP processes and vendor negotiations.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking abilities.
