Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at American Health Communities. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supervising a team of caregivers.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized healthcare to residents, including prescribed treatments and administering medications.
  • Supervise and direct the day-to-day functions of nursing aides and support staff.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as documenting assessments, managing inventory, and requesting supplies and equipment.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed.
  • Perform emergency procedures, such as CPR.
Qualifications:
  • Current licensure in the state of Tennessee as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including possible overtime, shift changes, and weekends.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Supervise support staff, including training, scheduling, and assigning work; reviewing performance and assisting in problem-solving for staff issues.
