Medical Practitioner

Orleans Community Health is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Family Medicine Doctor to provide high-quality care to patients of all ages in our rural community.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide walk-in care and occupational health services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Perform routine health check-ups, physical exams, and health screenings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescription medications and referrals to specialists when necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about health issues, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, in accordance with HIPAA regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Actively participate in community events and initiatives to promote health and wellness, and to build relationships with patients and community members.
- Degree in Medicine from an accredited institution.
- Active and unrestricted license to practice in New York.
- 3-5 years of experience in primary care preferred, new grads welcome.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
