Job Summary

This role supports sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store and coordinates all aspects of floorcovering installation through independent contractors to service wholesale floorcovering customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in identifying floorcovering installers and schedule installation to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure installation is conducted consistently with expectations and perform on-site inspections to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Review new and existing floorcovering installer accounts, including contacting outside sources for information, and ensure all installer transactions are handled properly through the store's computer operating system.
  • Determine floorcovering installation training needs and require training as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License and be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED and at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Have previous work experience selling floorcovering and/or floorcovering products, operating floorcovering cutting equipment, or installing floorcovering.
  • Have the Carpet and Vinyl Installation Certification by the Carpet and Rug Institute and the ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
