Job Summary

Martineau Electric, Inc. is seeking a skilled Service Electrician to join our team in Dover, NH. As a Service Electrician, you will be responsible for providing expert troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance services to our commercial, industrial, and residential customers in the Seacoast Area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Directly interact with customers regarding service requests and evaluate and document requests on work orders.
  • Equipment Installation and Repair: Install new or maintain, and repair existing electrical equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Assessment: Assess condition of electrical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and identify needed repairs.
  • Material Identification and Procurement: Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects.
  • Business Operations: Follow established business practices and procedures and complete required reports and forms.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
  • Accountability: Account for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
  • Emergency Response: Participate in rotating on-call emergency/afterhours service response.
Requirements
  • Experience: One year of licensed experience as an electrician.
  • Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • OSHA Training: OSHA 10 Training required; we will train otherwise qualified candidates, if necessary.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
  • Licenses: At least one electrical license in NH, ME, or MA licenses and the ability to obtain the others.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly, and occasionally up to 75lbs.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with tablet- and/or PC-based technology preferred.
