Dishwasher Job Summary

At Primanti Bros., we're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our restaurant and kitchen run smoothly by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clean, sanitized, and spot-free utensils, plate ware, glassware, and equipment to our players and fans.
  • Set up and close down the dish machine according to proper procedures.
  • Maintain daily cleanliness and maintenance of the dish machine, troubleshoot malfunctions as needed.
  • Wash and sanitize plate ware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans, and kitchen utensils while adhering to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
  • Gather boxes and trash from kitchen and fan areas and take them to the dumpster area. Reline cans and return them to their respective spots. Sweep and mop floors.
  • Assist with prep duties when needed, clean and sanitize throughout the shift.
  • Help put away food and paper deliveries, follow cooler diagrams and the first in first out rule when stocking shelves, mark vendor supplied items with date received.
  • Supply the line with needed items, supply the bar and server stations with ice.
  • Complete the opening, shift change, and closing checklists found in multi-colored wall units as well as weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
  • Perform other duties as needed per Coach request.
Requirements:
  • Ability to write and read the English language.
  • Good communication skills, friendly, and people-oriented.
  • Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, able to multitask.
  • Possesses basic math skills.
Work Environment:

Works indoors 75%, outdoors 25%. Works frequently in hot and damp environments. Frequently immerses hands in water diluted with chemical solutions. Frequently works with sharp knives and utensils. Frequently works with hot plates.
