About the Role:

Kettering Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with various physical rehabilitation needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations to determine the extent of functional limitations relevant to the diagnosis.
  • Develop and implement targeted treatment plans to decrease or eliminate functional limitations.
  • Utilize various physical therapy techniques, including thermotherapy, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, exercise, postural training, and soft tissue mobilization, to promote patient recovery.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide supervision and direction to physical therapist assistants to ensure patient goals and objectives are met.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of physical therapy required.
  • BS and MS preferred.
  • Must be licensed or eligible for license by the State of Ohio.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and possess characteristics of dependability, versatility, and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work under stress and handle multiple tasks.
  • Independent thinking skills, ability to problem solve, and exercise good judgment in decision making.
