Position Summary:
Arbon Equipment Corporation is seeking dedicated Service Technicians to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of loading dock equipment and industrial doors. Technicians will serve customer facilities in various markets, providing technical support and acting as a primary contact for our clients.
The compensation for this role ranges from $20 to $35 per hour, with adjustments made for geographic cost of living differences. Employees enjoy nine paid holidays, including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. New hires are entitled to up to two weeks of vacation, which is prorated based on the hire date within the first year. Additional paid time off is available based on tenure, including 56 hours of PTO (1 hour for every 40 hours worked) for employees in New York.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess experience in welding and familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Previous experience in the installation or repair of industrial equipment is highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently in a field setting and exhibit strong customer service skills. This role requires outdoor work, the ability to work at heights, and the capacity to lift up to 100 pounds. A clean driving record and successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical are mandatory due to the driving requirements of the position.
