Job Summary:

Broadview at Purchase College is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper III to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and related service work, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers and carpet cleaners
• Restock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
• Assist with special projects, such as deep cleaning and event preparation
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient cleaning process

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting, preferably in environmental services
• Ability to read and write, with strong communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional assistance
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending
