Black River Memorial Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This role requires providing comprehensive patient care, managing available nursing resources, and collaborating with other healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care. The position involves floating to various nursing departments as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized patient and family-focused care throughout the patient's stay.
- Evaluate patient assessments and responses to interventions, taking appropriate action according to established standards.
- Delegate patient care activities to appropriate personnel and maintain accountability for those activities.
- Initiate effective discharge and referral plans on admission, utilizing appropriate hospital and community resources.
- Accurately and effectively utilize the patient acuity system to anticipate changes in patient care needs.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- BLS within three months of hire
- ACLS and PALS within one year
- ENPC and TNCC within two years
- Current licensed Wisconsin Registered Nurse
