Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Operator 2 to join our team at DCOR, LLC - BW. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining oil and gas treatment and processing equipment, as well as troubleshooting process problems and making minor mechanical repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate oil and gas treatment and processing equipment, including two-phase separators, amine plants, compressors, pumps, scrubbers, and chiller units.
- Troubleshoot process problems and make minor mechanical repairs to keep processing units online.
- Perform regulatory monthly testing and maintenance tasks.
- Input daily oil, gas, and water production volumes into Company computer program.
- Assist Lead Operator with data entry into Company's facility maintenance Mainsaver software program.
- Perform preventive maintenance of oil and gas treatment and processing facilities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Three years of operational experience with working knowledge of oil and gas process equipment.
- Satisfactory completion of T2 process facilities training.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel software programs.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to perform minor mechanical repairs to standard oilfield equipment.
Working Conditions
This position requires the ability to work on an offshore oil platform in close quarters, maintain satisfactory hygiene, and work with others onboard. You must also be physically fit and able to perform tasks that involve climbing ladders, stairs, and ramps, as well as operating rotating equipment and machinery safely.
