Senior Embryologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Embryologist to join our team at the Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area. As a key member of our IVF laboratory, you will be responsible for performing complex embryology and andrology procedures, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and contributing to the success of our fertility treatments.

• Perform embryology and andrology procedures, including oocyte retrieval, sperm preparation, IVF, fertilization check, embryo evaluation, selection, vitrification, thawing, and transfer.
• Prepare embryo culture dishes and solutions using sterile tissue culture techniques.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance activities, including proficiency testing and documentation of laboratory records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical providers to provide expert care and service for fertility treatments.
• Communicate effectively with patients, center personnel, and medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Assist in research projects and training junior IVF support staff.
• Meet CLIA '88 requirements for education and experience for General Supervisor or Technical Supervisor.

• Bachelor's degree in biological science required.
• 2-3 years minimum experience, 3-5 years preferred.
• Preferred Certification/License: American Board of Bioanalysis: Embryology and Andrology, California CLS license with ASCP certification required only if performing diagnostic semen analysis.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Knowledge of office procedures and office machines.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
