Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at IDR Healthcare. As an Echocardiogram Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients, working closely with our team of radiologists and imaging managers to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform echocardiograms with precision, accurately identifying pathology and conducting further evaluations as needed.
  • Execute measurements and calculations according to established laboratory protocols.
  • Provide clear and concise preliminary findings, both written and oral, to the interpreting Cardiologist.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of all patients within the Echo department.
  • Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Imaging Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of current experience as an Echo Technologist, with expertise in adult echocardiography (pediatric echocardiography experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency with GE Logiq equipment.
  • Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
