Job Title: Cobol Programmer Specialist

At Smart IMS, we are seeking a skilled Cobol Programmer Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cobol programming, mainframe systems, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes and requirements to create high-quality documentation for our mainframe systems.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of our product and system documentation requirements.

• Develop user-friendly documentation, including online help and user guides, to support our customers and internal teams.

• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for the intended audience.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of Cobol programming experience.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to analyze complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
