About the Job

We're seeking a talented Aviation Development Professional to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. As a key member of our team, you'll work collaboratively or independently to plan, design, and construct civil & transportation projects focused on Aviation development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design tasks or projects, including supervising junior staff
  • Prepare bidding documents (plans & specifications) for horizontal and vertical layout, site development, grading, drainage, pavement design, marking, signage, erosion control, coordination with other disciplines, water & sanitary utilities, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and construction scheduling
  • Support client managers in providing service to and developing relationships with existing aviation clients
  • Perform project management and coordination of multi-disciplined tasks necessary to implement projects for clients in our aviation group
  • Assist in business development activities, including prospective client outreach, submittal preparation, and community engagement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree in advanced studies recognized in the evaluation process
  • Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience with demonstrated technical design & construction expertise in transportation, civil site development, and civil infrastructure projects
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois and/or Wisconsin required
  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge of AutoCAD for use in civil & site design projects; Civil 3D for site modeling, design, and analysis preferred
