Trauma Surgeon Locum Opportunity in Central South Carolina

We are seeking a Trauma Surgeon to provide locum coverage at a Level II trauma center in central South Carolina.
Schedule and Requirements- 10-hour day shifts
- No call
- Mainly blunt trauma, penetrating trauma, emergent procedures with general surgery, some ICU bedside procedures
- Adult and pediatric trauma comfort required
- APP support
- Epic EMR system
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Trauma Surgery
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Active unencumbered South Carolina physician state license
- Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
- One year of work experience as a Trauma Surgeon
- One year of Epic experience
- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks
