ABOUT PRATERS INC:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The role entails traveling across various school districts in the Southeastern United States to refurbish and replace basketball flooring. Responsibilities include sanding, applying floor graphics, finishing surfaces, and conducting routine maintenance. Travel expenses, lodging, and transportation will be covered by Praters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Travel throughout the Southeast region to restore basketball courts (expenses covered by the company)
  • Report to the designated warehouse for each assignment
  • Work autonomously with limited supervision
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to clients
  • Manage heavy equipment and materials
  • Utilize construction tools effectively
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness at job sites
  • Accurately calculate woodcuts
  • Be prepared to work overtime and on weekends as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to read a tape measure with precision
  • Willingness to learn basic carpentry techniques
  • Strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Successfully pass drug screening and background checks
  • Obtain a medical DOT card
