About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced After School Sports Coach to join our team at Elevo Learning. As a key member of our program, you will be responsible for leading sports-focused curriculum and activities for TK/K-6th grade students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate students through social-emotional learning and teach sports-focused curriculum
  • Lead drills, games, and scrimmages centered around various sports, including basketball, flag football, kickball, pickleball, soccer, track and field, tennis, and volleyball
  • Assist with homework completion and snack distribution
  • Effectively manage student behavior and ensure student safety during outdoor activities
  • Work effectively with staff and embrace professional development
  • Serve as a positive role model to students to build their self-esteem and emotional wellness
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in education, coaching, child development, or other child-focused experiences
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and complete a Live-Scan background check and TB screening
  • Reliable transportation and ability to follow COVID-19 protocols
  • Ability to engage in physical activities and move safely on irregular terrain
