Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic MRI Technologist to join our team on a contract assignment basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies.
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocols, including placing coils close to areas of interest.
  • Interview patients to explain procedures and address concerns, demonstrating tact, courtesy, and poise.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements
  • 2 years of continuous experience as a MRI Technologist, with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of MRI protocols and procedures.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
Work Experience

At least 2 years of experience in a clinical area, preferably with experience in EP.
