We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic MRI Technologist to join our team on a contract assignment basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety, as well as excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies.
- Perform patient studies according to set protocols, including placing coils close to areas of interest.
- Interview patients to explain procedures and address concerns, demonstrating tact, courtesy, and poise.
- Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
- Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
- 2 years of continuous experience as a MRI Technologist, with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
- License in the required state.
- BLS certification.
- Knowledge of MRI protocols and procedures.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
At least 2 years of experience in a clinical area, preferably with experience in EP.
