Job Summary:

The Baldwinsville Central School District is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Crew Leader to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and repair of public buildings and grounds. This is a critical role that requires advanced technical expertise, diagnostic skills, and a deep understanding of various mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small crew of Maintenance Worker II staff in performing hands-on maintenance and repair duties
  • Diagnose complex issues and execute high-standard repairs to ensure efficient operation of critical systems
  • Oversee administrative duties to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining high safety and operational standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless maintenance operations
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime

Requirements:

  • Advanced technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems
  • Strong diagnostic skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:
