Your responsibilities
Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking forward-thinking professionals to join our expanding organization to cater to the rapidly growing Data Center sector. You will be part of a centralized team supporting Data Center clients.
Your approach
We are in search of proficient HVAC Technicians with experience in air-cooled and/or water-cooled chillers or large rooftop ducted systems to support the expanding data center sector. We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA), which includes recognition, monetary incentives, and career advancement. We emphasize employee safety and offer tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle to perform your duties and serve our clients to the highest standards.
Deliver exceptional service to our clients to address facility inefficiencies and resolve service-related issues. As a trusted consultant to our clients, you will provide solutions and outcomes during commissioning and after-sales service. Offer recommendations and solutions to ensure facilities operate efficiently, including upselling opportunities. Provide estimates to support your recommendations and solutions.
What we seek
Essential Qualifications
- Be an integral member of a Data Center team responsible for startup, commissioning, and after-sales services for this rapidly growing sector.
- Must be a member or willing to join a local Union.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with air-cooled and/or water-cooled chillers or large rooftop ducted systems, with strong HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- May be required to pass a knowledge assessment to evaluate proficiencies.
- Willingness to invest in professional development. You will enroll in training programs to enhance your knowledge of HVAC products supporting the Data Center sector.
- Attention to detail through interpersonal, digital, and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning and applying knowledge on the job.
- Prioritize safety in all aspects.
- Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, a good driving record, and a valid driver's license.
