Job Title: RN Clinical Educator Full Time

USMD Hospital At Arlington LP is seeking a highly skilled RN Clinical Educator to join our team. As a key member of our ambulatory clinical education team, you will play a vital role in providing staff development across all regions and divisions within our primary, specialty, and imaging ambulatory clinics.

Job Summary:

The RN Clinical Educator will be responsible for conducting needs assessments, developing and implementing education plans, and evaluating the effectiveness of educational programming. This role will also involve facilitating teambuilding and leadership development, as well as serving as a role model to promote excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct needs assessments using strategic tools to identify learning gaps and develop targeted education plans.
  • Assist learners in assessing their needs and identifying outcomes, incorporating principles of adult learning in the planning and implementation of education programs.
  • Develop and coordinate education plans related to initial and ongoing competency validation, as well as core education to address patient population-specific nursing care.
  • Plan, prepare, and maintain evidence-based materials in various media formats for use in educational programs.
  • Provide educational opportunities that benefit ancillary clerical staff at all stages of their career development.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programming and prepare short- and long-term planning and programs to address identified needs.
  • Participate in committees, task forces, and projects to address areas of coverage within the organization.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and safety, serving as a role model for education and professional nursing practice.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of applied clinical experience as an RN in a health-related clinic leadership role.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing may be substituted for 2 years of required experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
  • Current, unrestricted State of Texas RN license and BLS Provider certification required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP Instructor level certification preferred.
