We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide weekend coverage for our acute care units at Fairmont Medical Center. As a member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants and students as needed.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to ensure delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services.
- Maintain accurate records and submit charges for services rendered.
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure in the state of West Virginia.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- One year of acute hospital experience preferred.
This is a per diem position, working weekends in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
