Job Title: Special Education Teacher

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at Potential Inc.'s private Springtime School. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a positive educational environment for students with autism or other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs for students with moderate to severe developmental disabilities.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines, including speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and behavior analysts, to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Assess student needs, create instructional programs, and utilize evidence-based teaching techniques based on Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Work in a small classroom setting with a registered behavior technician and behavior analyst to meet educational goals.
  • Participate in a supportive administration that prioritizes work-life balance and professional development.
