We are seeking a skilled Concrete Estimation Specialist to contribute significantly to our ongoing projects. In this role, you will be tasked with the precise estimation of project costs, ensuring the effective management of our concrete initiatives. Your knowledge and skills will be essential in enhancing our team's performance and project outcomes.
Compensation: $100,000 - $160,000 DOE + Bonus and Benefits
Work Environment: On-site (Various Locations)
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate comprehensive estimates for concrete projects, considering all essential elements.
- Work collaboratively with project managers and team members to facilitate accurate project planning.
- Analyze project documentation and specifications to fully grasp project needs.
- Leverage industry expertise and best practices to create competitive and precise bids.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders throughout the estimating phase.
- Stay informed about industry developments, pricing trends, and material availability to enhance the estimating process.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior estimators as required.
- Continuously assess and refine estimating procedures to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in structural concrete estimation, particularly in commercial projects.
- Expertise in estimating software and tools such as Bluebeam, Planswift, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and mathematical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated capability to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
