Job Summary

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Bethesda Health. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care services, including hygiene, nutrition, and mobility assistance
  • Record and maintain accurate patient records, including vital signs and treatment plans
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support patients with daily activities, including eating, drinking, and using the restroom
  • Participate in team collaboration and continuous education to enhance skills and respond effectively to resident needs
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and guidelines

Requirements

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of employment
  • CPR certification required, or willingness to obtain within six months of employment
  • High school diploma preferred, but not required
  • Long-term care experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift heavy objects using proper techniques and assist when necessary
  • Ability to transfer and move patients safely and efficiently
