Logistics Coordinator

A Warehouse Specialist at Carter Lumber plays a crucial role in managing the flow of materials for shipping and receiving. Core Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management

• Accountable for the appropriate storage of all incoming and outgoing materials. Assists in conducting inventory checks on stock items and notifies relevant personnel of any shortages. Ensures that incoming shipments are accurate and stored in designated areas.

Loading Operations

• Responsible for the loading of stock and custom materials in accordance with orders.
• Ensures secure loading onto delivery vehicles such as box trucks, semi-trailers, and sprinter vans.

Safety Compliance

• Follows safety protocols when using tools and equipment. Handles materials safely and reports any defects or safety concerns immediately.

Reporting Structure: The Warehouse Specialist reports directly to the Loading Supervisor. Depending on the organizational structure, this role may also report to the Operations Manager. No personnel report to the Warehouse Specialist.
