At IFS Coatings, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the creation of globally compliant product safety data sheets (SDSs) and labels, as well as maintaining systems for raw material and product records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with product safety software tools and associated rules, procedures, and templates to ensure compliance with global chemical control laws.
  • Determine basic product regulatory status using information provided by vendors and product safety software system.
  • Maintain and share raw material SDSs and data through established systems.
  • Respond to customer regulatory requests using established verbiage and templates.
  • Provide support to consulting resources as necessary.
  • Represent the company on external trade groups and teams to support business objectives.
Requirements:

We require a strong background in organic &/or powder coating chemistry, with a minimum BS degree in Chemistry, Biology or Toxicology. A background in hazard communication, including GHS, and 2+ years of experience are essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal, written, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience, as well as opportunities for growth and development within the company.
