Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CT Technologist to join our team at MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in our imaging department by performing high-quality CT scans and ensuring the accuracy and safety of diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT Imaging Equipment: Utilize advanced CT imaging technology to produce detailed and accurate diagnostic images.
  • Prepare and Position Patients: Ensure patient safety and comfort during CT scans, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Administer Contrast Agents: Safely administer contrast agents as required, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Review and Analyze Images: Thoroughly review and analyze CT images to ensure they meet diagnostic criteria, collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Maintain and Calibrate Equipment: Regularly maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Maintain a secure working environment by adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Certification: Possess valid certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
  • State Licensure: Hold state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in New York.
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrate proven experience in performing CT scans and interpreting imaging results.
  • Strong Knowledge: Possess strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and safety protocols.
  • Excellent Patient Care Skills: Exhibit excellent patient care skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to Work Efficiently: Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
