Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Analyst to join our team at HKA Enterprises. As a Customs Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our customs and export control related matters to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the migration of data from our current customs system to a new master data system.
- Interpret technical documents, such as drawings and diagrams, to ensure accurate classification and compliance.
- Assist with the review of technical details, including the use of systems to confirm material composition, thread size, etc.
- Assign appropriate units of measure to product master data and utilize US Group applications and knowledge bases to gather information required for classification.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to obtain relevant information and review and re-classify parts lists as needed.
- Track and provide Classification, PGA, and ADD/CVD KPIs and attend regular Challenge Board meetings to review classifications.
- Document processes in standardized work instructions and be knowledgeable in Confluence, JIRA, and Microsoft Teams.
- Provide holiday, after-hours support, and emergency processing support as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Previous data analysis experience with customs classification
- Excel / Microsoft Teams
- SAP GTS
- JIRA / Confluence
- Power BI
