Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A Class Daily to join our team. As a dedicated solo driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods within a 300-mile radius, operating a day cab tractor, and navigating local routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs.
  • Load and unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Pass a Ryder drug test.
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
  • Pass a DOT physical.
  • Pass a Ryder road test.
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures.
