Multifunctional Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Multifunctional Mechanic to join our team at Church & Dwight. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of mechanical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including utilities, infrastructure, and process systems.
  • Operate and maintain boiler room equipment, including boilers, pumps, and HVAC systems.
  • Conduct inspections and identify potential safety issues or concerns.
  • Perform electrical system maintenance and repairs, including motor control and motors.
  • Participate in safety training and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as an industrial mechanic in a manufacturing facility.
  • Vocational or high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Black seal boiler operator license or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • Knowledge of rigging principles, industrial plumbing, and process equipment operation.
  • Basic industrial machining, welding, and fabrication skills.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • General PC knowledge, including email and MS Office.
  • Ability to work in high temperatures and lift heavy objects.
