Job Title: School Psychologist

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and emotional well-being of students.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a School Psychologist who is passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives. You will work closely with students, parents, and educators to develop and implement tailored strategies to address students' psychological, emotional, and academic needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Psychological Assessments: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' cognitive, emotional, and social functioning, guiding interventions and educational planning.
  • IEP Development: Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address each student's specific needs, monitoring and updating these plans as necessary.
  • Counseling and Support: Provide direct counseling to students facing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges, including one-on-one sessions and group support.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, administrators, and other staff to create strategies that foster student achievement and well-being.
  • Team Participation: Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, providing insights on student progress, setting goals, and developing intervention plans that align with academic and emotional growth.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research and techniques in school psychology, bringing best practices to our school community.
Requirements:
  • Licensure: Hold a valid State School Psychologist License, verifying expertise in school psychology.
  • Education: Possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, ensuring advanced knowledge to handle complex student needs.
  • Experience: Bring a background in assessments, evaluations, and IEP development, allowing you to hit the ground running in this role.
