As a Process Engineering Co-op, you will work closely with our experienced process engineers to support the design, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and improvements to existing ones.

The Role:

Our team is responsible for developing and implementing new manufacturing processes and improving existing ones. As a Co-op, you will assist in the creation of CAD designs, provide advanced manufacturing knowledge to support process engineers, and aid in driving process improvements, maintaining SOPs and training, and supporting the day-to-day troubleshooting and work on the line.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to design and develop new manufacturing processes
  • Support process engineers in the design, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and improvements to existing equipment
  • Collaborate with vendors for process trials
  • Design experiments for process development projects
  • Inspect trial parts to evaluate process capability
  • Follow all safety and cleanliness protocols in manufacturing area and labs
  • Explore new technologies and methods for processing and metrology
Requirements:
  • Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
  • Data driven and hands-on approach
  • Comfortable with MS Excel
  • Passion for process engineering and advanced manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Minitab and CAD software
  • Experience with statistical analysis, data integration, and automation development
