As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to address physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in Maryland or Compact State.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years in acute care settings.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 and 12 months of hire, respectively.
  • Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred.
